Guna Raj is the founder of Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management Partners’ Alliance (MHM PA) in Nepal and has been its National Convener since 2017. He has been playing an instrumental role for menstrual movement and establishing dignified menstruation as a key agenda of the government, development partners, non-governmental and private sector in Nepal. He is a senior WASH professional and has worked with National Planning Commission, World Bank, CARE International, Water Aid, UNICEF, UNDP, WSSCC, PWC, and currently with Mott MacDonald as a Senior Project Manager. He is a Civil Engineer and Social Scientist by academics. Currently, he is providing TA support to the National Planning Commission especially to develop MHH indicators to include in 16th five-year plan and contribute to the formulation of policy on dignified menstruation.
