GIZ supported for the production of compostable sanitary pads through three women-led organizations (2 NGOs and 1 cooperative) at Sudur Paschhim province to increase the access to sanitary pads to girls and women and thereby improving the socio-economic status of women in the region. GIZ provided three compostable sanitary pad units with raw materials and has been supporting three partners for establishing social business model.
