BBC conducted school-based research in Kavre which indicated that the knowledge among young girls and boys of rural areas on MHM is alarming. BBC has been implementing health education sessions in schools, continuously advocating with local and national government authorities to ensure the MHM needs of adolescents in schools such as allocation of adequate budget for girl-friendly toilet, partnership and collaboration with government and non-government stakeholders to address the issues of MHM and WASH.
